The purpose of the rig was designed to verify the manufacture and installation
of the fire extinguisher system within the A400M wings by pressurising each
system with water and measuring the pressure decay.
System Specification
The rig is fully mobile manufactured from stainless steel with an integrated 
Siemens PLC operated control system. The in let air pressure is 100PSI with a
required out let pressure of up to 2625PSI. This was achieved using an Air accumulator.
The screen displays the time, pressure and flow, which records any leak or pressure
decay. The Test Rig is suitable to be used in a Skydrol environment
